The QA Coordinator at our Huntingwood site is a key site management and leadership role accountable for driving and delivering Quality Excellence. This role is instrumental in providing leadership in ensuring that the systems, processes and procedures which ensure product quality and food safety are implemented, consistently met and continually improved.
Utilising your exceptional time management and organisational skills you will manage the manufacturing support function of the QA department, to ensure the manufacture of all products is in strict compliance to all Campbell’s Arnott’s quality system requirements to guarantee safe and consistently high quality product.
As the 2IC to the Technical Manager, and with 2 direct reports and 6 indirect reports, your day to day responsibilities will include the management of the site’s Hold & Release and the Consumer Complaint programs, leading and driving continuous improvement and providing guidance to your team and technical expertise in investigating quality related manufacturing issues. You will also develop, implement, manage and maintain the site’s change management process and deliver assigned projects within the allocated time frame.
You will be an experienced leader of teams with superior interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and your ability to influence and build relationships with a diverse audience is crucial to your success in this role.
A tertiary qualification in Food Science, Science or Engineering and a sound understanding of Quality Management Systems (SQF), HACCP programs and Quality Auditing is essential. Technical experience in related industry such as dairy, canning, food or pharmaceutical will also be advantageous.
