•  Full time, Permanent role

About the role
Boral Quarries Victoria provides high quality aggregate for large infrastructure projects, and for residential and commercial construction, and is seeking a responsible, organised and experienced individual to join our team.
Reporting to the Technical Supervisor, you will be responsible for undertaking tasks in relation to sampling, testing, test methods, physical analysis, maintenance of records, and reporting of results.

Duties/responsibilities
•  Conduct sampling in accordance with applicable work instructions, test methods, preparation instructions and manuals,
•  Ensure sampling and testing conforms to standards, management procedures and regulations,
•  Calibrate equipment as required,
•  Maintain the minimum frequency of testing for plants, and
•  Liaise with technical and sales staff in relation to internal/external customer requirements and complaints.

Skills/experience
•  Sound technical aptitude,
•  Previous experience in Quarry Materials Testing would be advantageous but not essential,,
•  NATA Signatory in Construction Materials Industry,
•  Well developed skills and understanding of computer systems for monitoring and reporting of data,
•  Strong analytical skills,
•  Strong commitment to safety and quality,
•  Demonstrated ability to keep up to date with relevant industry developments,
•  Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with all people, and
•  Personal drive and results-orientation.
