Based in Toowoomba and reporting to the Contracting Manager, you will be responsible for the control of daily road surfacing works undertaken in the Toowoomba Region. This is a hands-on position and your duties will include:
Manage safety and environmental performance on work sites;
Coordination and control of field operations and projects;
Maximise daily productivity;
Daily job inspections;
Training and development of personnel; and
Assist with contracting administration duties.
To be considered for this role, you should demonstrate:
Previous experience as a Supervisor or Foreman in the road surfacing industry;
Self motivation, with the ability to work unsupervised;
The ability to lead and direct teams and crews to achieve safe and productive outcomes with high quality standards;
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal);
Personal drive and results-orientation; and
A genuine commitment to safety, health and the environment.
