Job Title: Branch Manager, Kalgoorlie WA - Start New Application

BlueScope Distribution operates from more than 50 metropolitan and regional sites around Australia to offer a diverse range of steel products to industries including resources, transportation, automotive, construction, infrastructure and agriculture.
We are currently seeking a results driven and experienced professional to manage the day to day operations of the Kalgoorlie Branch.
As the Kalgoorlie Branch Manager you will manage, lead and develop a cohesive team to achieve optimum business performance and profitability whilst ensuring the effective utilization of assets and human resources.
Key responsibilities will include;
Manage and coordinate the development of sales budgets and financial plans in line with business strategies
Drive BSD’s sales management processes and manage customers within the region
Develop relationships and establish value propositions with key customers and suppliers
Identify new market opportunities and develop growth strategies to increase profit and create shareholder value
Engage, influence and maintain productive customer and internal stakeholder relationships across all levels
Lead pricing management and approve customer/supplier pricing for key accounts
Review and analyse local forecasting and financial performance
Implement business strategies and sales plans to achieve budget
Maximize employee engagement by leading and mentoring
Recruitment of staff in consultation with Human Resources Team
Ensure Safety Management Systems and processes for the branch meet BlueScope policies, standards and procedures
This is an excellent opportunity for a high performing professional to further develop their skills and make a difference in a dynamic and challenging environment.
To be successful in this role you will have significant commercial sales industry experience as well a proven track record in the achievement of sales targets. Your demonstrated success in a leadership role along with your experience in establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial customer relationships is essential. Efficiently managing the warehouse operations including all aspects of on-site safety will be critical to your success. SAP and Microsoft Office Suite experience will be highly regarded.
As the successful candidate you will be self motivated, proactive and willing to learn. Well developed negotiation, communication and organization skills coupled with your ability to prioritize tasks and meet targets/deadlines will ensure your success in this role.
