Would you like to be instrumental in managing the implementation of the training and development strategy for the largest Food and Beverage department in the Southern hemisphere? If so, well now is an exciting time to join Crown!
More than 1800 people are employed in over 40 different outlets incorporating fine dining and casual restaurants, bars and nightclubs with roles ranging from entry level to senior management in both front and back of house.
Reporting directly to the HR Manager for Food & Beverage, the Training Manager is responsible for managing learning and development, coordination, and implementation of training programs. Key responsibilities of the role include contributing to the continuous improvement of the training strategy in regards to learning outcomes, delivery innovation, and financial drivers. This includes; financial accountability of the F&B training budget, leading and coaching the F&B training team and continue to raise the award winning profile of the F&B training programs.
Ideally you will have a background in managing teams, exhibit excellent communication with demonstrated experience in engaging successfully with multiple stakeholders, and a good understanding of training methodology and adult learning principles.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated:
Implementation of company training strategies
Working knowledge of the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF)
Outstanding communication (both written and verbal)
Knowledge of adult learning principles and innovative use of training methodology
Experience with budget management
Leading, coaching and managing teams
Strong service focus with experience working in a fast-paced, multi-site business with multiple stakeholders
Immaculate personal presentation to meet 5 star expectations
