We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated Registered Nurse to join the perioperative team. This theatre department performs a range of surgical procedures including General, Bariatic, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Plastics, Vascular, Gynaecology, ENT, Faciomaxillary and a number of other specialities.
This pivotal role is for an expert in perioperative nursing, who is committed to excellence in the provision of clinical practice and has the ability to work effectively within the ACORN Standards. The applicant must be able to demonstrate extensive skills in effective communication.
Brisbane Waters Private Hospital is a general medical and surgical Healthscope hospital situated in Woy Woy on the scenic Central Coast of NSW, which is close to beautiful beaches and only 30 minutes from Hornsby.
Essential Criteria:
Extensive experience in perioperative nursing
Degree in Nursing and or equivalent post graduate certification
Minimum of 2 years theatre experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to ensure excellence in customer service provision to internal and external customers
Able to encourage and motivate staff
Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with the Doctors
