Job Description
The purpose of this position is to provide technical support and management of BOQ hardware and software infrastructure, apply industry standards best practice and demonstrate the expertise required to manage both internal and external IT services, infrastructure, people and processes.
You will contribute to the definition and management of the BOQ Groups IT infrastructure architecture.
Required Skills
Demonstrates understanding of technical requirements and develops effective relationships with technical staff
Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems
Microsoft Exhchange Server
Microsoft SQL Server
Active Diretory
Blackberry Enterprise Server
Good for Excahnge
Citrix applications
Vmware applications
Backup and restore services
Working knowledge of the IT Infrastructure Library Framework (ITIL v3)
Good knowledge of contemporary and emerging enterprise, infrastructure and security architectures
Manages, motivates and leads specific BOQ Platform Services ICT Groups, sets and measures staff goals and objectives.
A tertiary degree in IT or related discipline or acceptable industry experience
Certification from major IT vendors (Microsoft, Citrix, VMware, etc).
Required Experience
10 years IT experience
5 years’ experience in similar roles,
Finance and Banking experience,
Experience of managing staff in a similar role,
Proven customer service orientation.
