We are currently seeking a Retail Data Manager to join our Business Architecture team at AGL. Business Architecture is the conduit between IT & Operations and through innovative consultation identifies and delivers initiatives to maximize operational efficiency whilst ensuring solution integrity.This position provides the opportunity to work as part of AGL's roadmap in being the market leader in shaping energy solutions.
This role has primary responsibility for developing and embedding a Retail Data Quality framework, along with strategy and processes which support data governance, stewardship and business ownership. This role, will champion an increased focus on data quality in Retail and across AGL to support operational excellence and customer service improvement. The Data Assurance team will serve as the knowledge centre for subject matter experts for all retail data and will be responsible for ensuring quality and value of retail data and information. You will also be responsible for establishing and implementing key measurements to validate the quality of data and set process improvement objectives.
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience successfully establishing and embedding a data framework within a large corporate environment
Strong data management and governance skills including highly evolved process and data analysis skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to consult with and influence to senior leadership level
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to identify and assess critical data quality governance issues
Experience developing quality metrics, setting and monitoring standards and process development
Change and thought leadership with experience working on large scale IT programs of work
