New Japanese Restaurant
Soon to arrive at Crown Melbourne, a new Japanese restaurant offering an exciting culinary experience that will take gourmet sushi and Isekaya to a whole new level. This 18 seat restaurant will boast a charcoal based grill and a menu to rival some of Melbourne's most popular relaxed Japanese dining venues. Stocked with authentic ingredients as well as a well-stocked Sake bar, this will become one of Crown Melbourne's most well-known destinations.
To add to the excitement of this venue we are seeking an energetic and hands-on Restaurant Manager. In this integral role you will be responsible for the efficient operation of the outlet, managing guest expectations and providing leadership, development and support to all staff. Additionally, this position will involve having an understanding of cost control and how it relates to other expenses, beverage costs and P&Ls.
What you need:
Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager within a similar venue
Understanding of Japanese cuisines and culture
Proven organisational and time management skills
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor staff
Advanced communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to liaise with guests on all levels
Sound knowledge of financials and budgets
Exceptional grooming standards appropriate for a 5 star environment
Ability to speak Japanese is advantageous
