New Japanese Restaurant
Soon to arrive at Crown Melbourne, a new Japanese restaurant offering an exciting culinary experience that will take gourmet sushi and Isekaya to a whole new level. This 18 seat restaurant will boast a charcoal based grill and a menu to rival some of Melbourne's most popular relaxed Japanese dining venues. Stocked with authentic ingredients as well as a well-stocked Sake bar, this will become one of Crown Melbourne's most well-known destinations.
To add to the excitement of this venue we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Restaurant Manager. Reporting directly to the Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for the efficient operation of the outlet, managing guest expectations, role-modelling effective team behaviours and providing leadership and support to all staff. Additionally, this position will involve having an understanding of cost control and how it relates to other expenses, beverage costs and P&Ls.
What you need:
Previous experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager within a similar venue
A keen interest in Japanese cuisines and culture
Ability to speak Japanese is advantageous
Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills
Exceptional grooming standards appropriate for a 5 star environment
Willingness and ability to work a 24/7rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
Exceptional customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail
Must have full working rights in Australia.
