We are looking for Resident Medical Officers (RMOs) to join our Coronary Care team. These positions will be based in our newly refurbished Coronary Care Unit (CCU), working closely with our renowned Cardiologists, and Coronary Care Nurses.
The RMOs will be responsible for managing the patient's care on behalf of, and in liaison with the patient's consultant, to ensure a high standard of care is maintained. The RMO will also attend to Medical Emergencies and Cardiac Arrests.
The Mount Hospital is located at the base of Perth's prestigious King's Park. We offer a variety of specialities for the population of Perth and Western Australia. With the states only Level 3 Intensive Care Unit, the Mount Hospital offers Cardiac, Neurosurgery, Orthopaedic, Plastics, Oncology, and General Surgical services, in addition to Medical and Rehabilitation specialities.
Our CCU is a busy 24-bed unit, which takes direct admissions via a Priority Admission Service (PAS) as well as assuming care for patients following diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, from our Cardiac Catheter Laboratories. Suitable applicants will preferably have experience in adult cardiology and coronary care, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

You will be aware of hospital licensing and accreditations cycles, and have suitable experience in managing and contributing towards hospital based clinical risk reduction strategies. You will work closely with the Medical Director to ensure that clinical care standards are adhered to and maintained.
The successful applicants must be able to live and work in Australia, and be appropriately registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
