Permanent Full Time position at a 24/7 Laboratory
Great location on the Gold Coast - close to public transport, shops & schools
Experience in Biochemistry, Haematology & Blood Banking required
Healthscope Pathology is seeking a highly motivated multi-disciplinary Medical Scientist to join the team at our Southport Laboratory.
Our laboratory is located at the Allamanda Private Hospital. We currently provide hospital and outpatient testing, performing biochemistry, haematology, blood banking and stat microscopy.
Essential Criteria:
Degree in Medical Science or equivalent qualification
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Willingness to participate in a rotating roster including overnight shifts, weekends & public holidays
Demonstrated experience in Biochemistry, Haematology and Blood Banking
Maintain a high quality, accurate and efficient work environment
Ability to work alone and as part of a team
Strong customer focus
Desirable Criteria:
Experience in blood film morphology
Have a sound understanding of Quality Control and Quality Assurance
Familiarity with stat microscopy
