Located in a Brand new building on Collins St in Melbourne CBD as a Lending Specialist, you will achieve customer service excellence through practising sales & service methodology and assisting customers achieve their financial goals. Leveraging state of the art video conferencing technology, you will maintain customer contact throughout the lending lifecycle and resolve all queries and complaints in a timely fashion. You will build lasting relationships with your excellent communications skills and your proactive approach.
You will be supported by a dedicated Lending Assessor and have your referrals allocated to you by the Workflow Co-ordinator.
Training for these exciting new opportunities commences 4th Feb 2013. This team is being created to support our branch network nationally; shifts will be available between the hours of 1:15pm - 11pm Monday to Sunday.
The main duties of this role will include:
Interacting with customers through Video Conferencing
Assessing the customers financial suitability for lending
Identifying and anticipating customers' needs Exhibit customer service excellence through demonstration of the Banks' customer service standards.
Creating referral opportunities as appropriate to specialists for their complex financial needs
Overcoming customer objections and prompt resolution of any enquiries or complaints
Achieve personal sales targets through proactively identifying lending and cross sale opportunities
As the ideal candidate you will possess a combination of the following:
Lending experience in a retail environment
Contact centre experience
High level communication skills
Knowledge of the retail banking product suite
Financial health check mastery
Strong numerical comprehension
Relationship/stakeholder management skills
