We currently have a very exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, dynamic and energetic Life Claims Consultant to join our Claims Risk Team within Business Services.
This role resides within CommInsure's Claims Risk Team responsible for Litigation, Training / Coaching. Developing and/or changing Claims management guidelines, Performing Quality Reviews and Trend analysis reporting
As a Quality and Development, Life Claims Consultant you will need to balance your compliance responsibilities with providing a superior technical service across all Life insurance lines of business and facilitate the design and implementation of improvements that have a service or profit impact.
Your main responsibilities are -
Perform quality reviews, formulate and delivers training, coaching,
Formulate and rollout of case management assessments,
Technical support via case conferencing, ,
Coach, support individuals enrolled in the Cert IV national Claims qualification program
Performs claims portfolio experience studies.
Review and further improve current claims management practices Developing and implementing training, tools, documentation and projects required to continuously improving performance against targets.
As the ideal candidate you will have:
Significant practical experience (at least 5 yrs.) in managing life and disability claims in Wholesale or Retail (experience in both will be advantageous).
Performing Quality Reviews
Working knowledge of Insurance contract Act and Regulatory requirements
PC skills
Workplace Certificate IV, Certificate in "Work Place Assessment", or desire to obtain on commencement of the role.
Influencing and negotiation at senior levels.
