Applications are invited from highly motivated, enthusiastic staff with excellent communication, keyboard /computer and time management skills for the position of Receptionist to be rostered shift work over 7 days and Ward Clerk to be rostered Monday-Friday, office hours. Professional presentation and a ‘can do' attitude are essential for these positions.
Ashford Hospital is located 5km south west of the Adelaide CBD. With 239 beds, it is South Australia's largest private hospital. With a level 3 ICU, extensive cardiac services, angiography facilities, emergency department, obstetrics unit and medical / surgical wards it is considered to be a centre for clinical and medical excellence.
The above positions report to the Administration Manager and form an integral part of the Administration Services Department.
Essential Criteria:
Experience working with Word, Excel
Advanced problem solving & decision making skills
Excellent time management and data entry accuracy
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work autonomously
Ability to work in close proximity to medical scenarios
Desirable Criteria:
Relevant qualifications
Previous Health Reception/Clerical experience
