Geelong Private Hospital is seeking a suitably experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team as an After Hours Coordinator.
The After Hours Coordinator is required to provide leadership to guide the strategic direction and operational management of the clinical and support functions within the hospital after hours.
We are seeking to appoint an individual(s) into this key executive role, with previous senior nursing management experience and a strong ability to provide outstanding and supportive leadership to the nursing workforce.
Geelong Private Hospital is a 109 bed acute private hospital, undertaking a full range of surgical, medical, rehabilitation and cardiac services. The hospital aims to deliver exceptional care at every level of service.
It is anticipated that the characteristics and competencies the successful candidate will demonstrate includes:
Consultative leadership style and ability to build rapport and effective relations with key stakeholders
Well-developed clinical nursing and management experience in an acute care setting
Well-developed financial and analytical skills
A strong commitment to customer service and quality outcomes
Highly developed interpersonal skills, conflict management & negotiation skills
