Boral Construction Materials (SA) is seeking an experienced individual to join our Logistics team as a Truck Driver.
Reporting to the Operations Manager - Logistics, you will be based at Linwood and duties and responsibilities of the role will include but not limited to:
Compliance with OH&S policies, procedures and legislations, which includes participation in site safety meetings;
Delivery of products which includes responsibility for compliance with the law and the discharge of products as directed;
Ensuring customers and the general public are treated in a courteous and professional manner and the vehicle is presented clean and tidy;
Conducting daily checks on the vehicle and reporting maintenance required, and
General yard duties as required.
To be considered for this role, you must have the following qualifications, experience and attributes:
A strong safety focus;
Relevant driving and construction industry experience (preferred);
HC / HR Drivers licence (essential);
A Cert III in Road Transport (desirable, but not essential);
Ability to complete documentation associated with collection and delivery of product;
Superior customer focus with excellent communication skills;
Self motivated;
Professional and courteous manner;
Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant transport laws and regulations; and
A willingness to participate in daily rosters and be adaptable to changing shifts.
