As Senior HR Advisor you will act as a partner to Functional Executives and he leadership teams by embedding corporate HR strategy and providing professional HR guidance and support in order to add value to the business.
Key accountabilities:
Recognise, identify and implement internal HR Policy and / or process improvements to better enable company success
Drive performance management cycle across Functions to ensure company objectives are met
Assist in building supervisory and leadership capability
Provide best in class advice and support on all employee relations / industrial relations issues to both WEL and contractor stakeholders
Display safety leadership in all aspects of the functional day to day tasks
Ensure awareness of internal and external market and business factors that could impact on people at the operational plants
Qualifications and experience:
Tertiary qualifications in human resource management or a related discipline
Proven capability in understanding and applying contemporary Human Resource practices and tools
Extensive experience in human resource roles, preferably gained through operating at a senior / consultant or partner level.
Employee Relations experience in a similar business environment.
Capacity to interpret and apply relevant Awards, Agreements, Statutes
Familiarity with workers’ compensation, rehabilitation and OH&S legislation.
Excellent skills in influencing, networking and managing operational stakeholders.
A strong working knowledge of the business context and proven capability in business acumen.
Well developed interpersonal, negotiation, coaching and communication skills, including written communications.
This is primarily a Perth-based office role that will require travel on a regular basis to our Karratha operations.
