IT Security Services Operations

IT Security Services (ITSSO) are responsible for the Design, Build, Deliver and Run of IT Security Services to NAB globally. With a team of 120, ITSSO operates 5 distinct functions.

Purpose:

This role exists to provide technical support of IT security access and identity management provisioning applications and solution design of associated access controls across the Australian Region for Oracle Security.

The role may lead to perform and optimise the day to day operations, maintenance, and management of IT security access and identity management provisioning applications and associated access controls across the Australian Region for the Oracle Security Suite.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

Provide specialist advice to the business regarding issues in the application of technology to enhance business performance
Up skill fellow team-members in various aspect of the Oracle Security suite
Collaborate with colleagues in other Technology Units and regions to ensure global design and development meets the Group's Technology global re-use objectives
In conjunction with the Development and Support Managers develop detailed support processes and designs, in line with business requirements
Act as an escalation point within the Next Gen & nabAIM Team.  Field intermediate level security incidents and difficult tasks.  Escalate to Manager when needed.
Contribute to the maintenance of a central knowledge repository for maintenance models models, development standards, tips and techniques for support & building components.
Provide 24x7 on-call support to all IT security applications and associated access and identity management controls, ensuring the continuous availability of security services.
Execute implementation plans for installations of hot-fixes and upgrades to the IT security access and identity management provisioning environment when and where required.
Instigate access control list clean-ups and regular reviews of business-as-usual requests
Review of new versions of key software for the IT security access and identity management environment when and where appropriate.
Support an advanced security assessment and response capability by ensuring the continuous availability of IT security applications and associated access and identity management controls.
Investigate security application and/or access and identity management control problems, and provide coordination of resolution with the business; technology; and vendors as required
Qualifications and Skills

It is expected that the role holder will have the following qualification and experience:

Proven analysis and design experience on complex projects
Knowledge and experience with coding in Java, JavaScript and Perl programming language
Proven Access & Identity Management experience utilising the following:
Oracle Access Manager (OAM)
Oracle Identity Manager (OIM)
Oracle Internet Directory (OID)
Oracle Virtual Directory (OVD)
LDAP concepts
Extensive IT security experience with emphasis on optimising the efficiency and effectiveness of security access and identity management provisioning methodologies and applications
Knowledge of, and experience in IT governance, including industry frameworks such as ITIL and COBIT and relevant Australian and international standards.
Proven communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
Sound understanding and experience in the practical application of risk management concepts, principles and strategies, and industry standards for risk management.
Prior exposure utilising the following will be highly advantageous:

Oracle Identity Federation (OIF)
Oracle Identity Analaytics (OIA) / Sun Role Manager
Degree and appropriate post-graduate professional Technology training/ qualifications in areas of Security, Infrastructure, analysis/ specification, design and/or testing will be highly regarded.
