Supporting our businesses and integral to the success of the Funds Group is our Operations Division. In Australia the Operations Division supports all Divisions of MIM and SIS. The Asset Valuation & Data Management team is responsible for the valuation of all assets held by MFG across it various schemes and entities as well as the support of core system data and documentation required in order to invest into specific markets.
You will be responsible for:
Ensuring daily deadlines are met for valuing approximately 8000 securities' which includes the following instrument types:
OTC Derivatives
Vanilla Equity and Fixed interest securities
Structured products
Identification of automated solutions around current processes;
Build on existing relationships internally and externally to the operations Division
Processing data within multiple systems on an ongoing basis;
To be successful in this role you will have:
Recent Tertiary qualified
Previous experience in Funds Management and custodians preferred
Understanding of financial instruments and strong analytical skills
Advanced Excel skills with knowledge of VBAs
Ability to work well in a team environment and work independently
Strong problem solving skills, high attention to details
Has a wiliness to learn and enthusiasm towards the role;
