Boral Plasterboard specialises in the manufacture, distribution and installation of plasterboard-based wall, ceiling lining systems and accessories and aims to be Australia's leading supplier of wall and ceiling lining solutions. We have plasterboard manufacturing plants in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, a specialty plasters and jointing compounds plant in Victoria, cornice plants in New South Wales and Victoria, an integrated national network of 54 specialist trade centres and Australia's largest residential wall and ceiling installation service.
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse/Forklift Operator to join our Darwin team. In this role, you will be responsible for making up of loads at the Darwin site, which encompasses unloading of trucks, serving customers, arranging delivery to site and providing a high standard of service to external customers.
To be successful in this role you should have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
A current forklift ticket;
A background in distribution/warehouse activities;
Familiarity with MS Excel and warehouse computer programs such as MK8;
An understanding of the internal linings market in the NT would be well regarded but not essential;
The skills to operate within a warehouse environment and compliance to all Worksafe and Boral SHE standards and procedures;
Ability to work in a team environment and delegate and schedule resources for daily work loads;
Strong customer service skills; and
Proactive and effective management of all matters relating to Health, Safety & Environment, with meeting Boral best practice as a minimum requirement.
