We launch into an exciting year for Arnott’s at Virginia, with significant investment creating a number of challenging and high profile projects throughout the site. As an Inventory Coordinator, you would be accountable for accurate production reporting and the control of raw materials and packaging materials required for production.
Key areas of responsibility:
• Co-ordinate the inventory control process on the shift.
• Monitor production (commits) in SAP ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Daily inventory counts and reconciliation. Generate reports containing Production Staging Area (PSA) inventory discrepancies for prior day, and cycle count PSA, and Bin locations.
• Close process orders from prior day, after reconciling and adjusting raw material and finished goods inventory.
• Perform root cause investigation on discrepancies (yield losses).
• Investigate PSA errors and correct issues to ensure data integrity.
• Act as an integral part of a task force to align systems accuracy of material usage and BOM accuracy.
• Conduct cycle counting of key items
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate exceptional communication skills along with strong technical and problem solving skills, within an FMCG environment. Your inventory management capability will be teamed with strong computer literacy, self-drive, and ideally, tertiary qualifications in a related field. Our site operates 24 hours, 5 days per week, so some flexibility in availability may be required. SAP knowledge would also be highly advantageous.
