Boral Concrete is one of the leading concrete suppliers in Queensland. We are seeking a responsible and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a FEL Loader Operator/Concrete Batcher.
Based at our Rockhampton Plant, your main responsibility will be to operate the Front End Loader and you will be trained to perform all duties associated with operating a concrete batch plant. You will report to the Plant Manager and your responsibilities will include:
FEL operation, including filling hoppers with product, pushing up material in storage bins and assisting with stock control of bins;
Ensure customer requirements are met in a courteous and professional manner;
Operate a Batch Plant and Docket Despatch System;
Adherence to safety standards;
Full understanding and compliance with our COD policy and banking requirements; and
General yard and plant maintenance and housekeeping.
To be successful in this role you should be reliable and willing to learn, have a strong safety focus, proven FEL competency, customer service experience, good computer skills and good communication skills. A front end loader ticket is essential.
