Job Description
Working with one of the world's most iconic and innovative brands, this role will be responsible for identifying, closing and optimizing new business opportunities for new and existing customers.  The Business Development Manager will develop comprehensive business opportunity plans to assist in the identification and further qualification of sales opportunities. The position will require a close working partnership with Account Executives, Resellers and Third Party Consultants/ Suppliers. The financial targets and business objectives expected to be delivered by the Business Development Manager include new business revenue, planned, documented and executed sales activity, and customer experience KPI’s. The Business Development Manager will be required to expand the Programme's market share within the respective Channel and to promote the brand through exceptional sales engagement, marketing campaigns and relationship development.
Required Skills
A tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce or a related discipline will be highly regarded
Ability to relate and effectively communicate to people at all levels
Proven track record in solution and insight selling to both internal & external customers
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation skills
Demonstrate a high level of self-motivation
Commercially astute
Delivers results
Able to maintain and establish professional networks and relationships
Ability to achieve goals through persuasion, influencing and negotiating skills
Expert understanding of an end-to-end Sales Process, e.g. Discovery, Qualification and Alignment, Define, Solution Mapping, Close, Delivery, and Optimisation/Up-sell
Knowledge of and experience in Competitive Analysis, Call Planning, Competitive Traps, Discovery Map, Solution Map, Delivery Plan
Expert with Sales Strategies: e.g. Timing, Direct, Reposition, Fragment, Develop, Defend, Walk Away/Pull Away
Demonstrable track record of success over the previous 3 years against assigned quotas

Required Experience
Experience and ability to understand the organisational and political structure of a prospect and their buying needs
Exposure to CRM Sales tools, preferably Salesforce
Previous financial services sales experience; IT Industry experience considered favourably
