We currently have exciting opportunity for self-motivated, dynamic and energetic Teleclaims Consultants to join our busy but fun General Insurance Claims team.
Working in a service centre environment, the primary purpose of this role is to handle all claims calls with regards to home and motor insurance, lodging the customers call and details, as well as handling small claims such as glass breakages. It will also involve effectively communicating with our clients to provide peace of mind, understanding and guidance through the general insurance claims process.
In addition you will be:
• Update, modify customer policy details as required
• Advise customer of relevant insurance coverage related to claim to be registered
• Register new claims
• Obtain verbal proof of loss as appropriate
• Allocate work to Preferred Smash Repairers/Suppliers/Builders
• Authorise repairs of Insured/ Third Party to delegated authority level, and within relevant policy and procedure guidelines/compliance requirements
• As appropriate, identify/refer recoveries process, as appropriate
• Refer where appropriate of suspicious claims to Investigations
• Provide exceptional customer service
As the ideal candidate you will have contact centre experience, strong customer service skills, have come from a Motor or Home insurance background, exceptional phone manner, strong attention to detail, excellent communication and organisational ability coupled with strong relationship building skills.
