Job Description
The purpose of this position is to support the EF State Sales Manager to achieve agreed settlement, portfolio growth and profitability objectives for the Equipment Finance (“EF”) product portfolio in the direct sales channel. This will be achieved through delivery of training, identification & settlement of EF opportunities and exceptional customer service that meet direct & indirect customer needs.
The position will also be the central reference point for sales, product and pricing matters from all Direct Business Units . The incumbent will work with the EF SSM to plan, coordinate and deliver marketing activities, training initiatives, project and business improvement initiatives, reporting and day to day budget and expense management.
Required Skills
Tertiary degree in Business or related discipline is preferred
Sound working knowledge of Equipment Finance, and related products
Very strong PC skills – word processing, spreadsheet and presentation preparation
Substantial knowledge of the BOQ’s general banking operations and products
Sound knowledge of the commercial market and competitors products
Very strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Exposure to marketing and advertising
Sound credit analysis skills
Required Experience
Exposure to Relationship Management of Internal & External Business Partners
Proven Sales Management and achievement of sales targets
Proven customer service orientation
Ability to demonstrate the appropriate credit analysis skills to complete role
Exposure to pricing delegation and management of portfolio margin performance
