The waterside suburbs from Sandgate to Redcliffe offer a mix of sun and sand, and right in the middle of these booming areas is Brighton. The Brighton Hotel is perfectly located just blocks from the waterfront with all the facilities you need to make the venue your own.
The Brighton Hotel is currently seeking an experienced Qualified Chef to join their busy kitchen team.
Working unsupervised and also within a team environment you will be responsible for producing quality dishes in a timely manner. You will require proven leadership skills and a strong orientation towards customer service. We are looking for a team member who loves coming to work every day and can add value to our team
Possessing outstanding communication skills and strong attention to detail you will understand the requirements for food preparation to prescribed standards, together with maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
You will have flexible availability to work rostered shifts across hotel trading hours including nights and weekends. This will include split shifts.
Previous experience working in a high volume kitchen environment is essential to your success within this position.
