Chancellor Park Family Medical Practice in Sippy Downs is currently seeking an experienced Practice Nurse (RN/EEN) to join their friendly, well established and busy practice on a casual basis (permanent part-time also considered).
Ongoing shift requirements are a minimum of 30 hours per week Monday to Friday commencing at 8:30am daily. Immediate commencement and thorough orientation will be available to the successful candidate.
As a Practice Nurse within the practice you will be responsible for:
ECGs
Spirometry
Wound Care
Immunisations
Sterilization of instruments
Assisting Doctors with minor procedures
Management of the patient recall and reminder system
As the successful applicant you will be required to have:
Current Australian Nursing Registration
Previous and recent General Practice treatment room experience highly regarded
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a busy environment
Good computer skills and previous experience using Patient Information Systems
