Job Title: Associate Programmer

Right now we're looking for a talented and enthusiastic Associate Programmer with personality to join our Business Intelligence (BI) Team. This entry level role will see you play a key role in assisting the BI function serve our internal customers. Of course, collation, compilation and analysis of data are part and parcel of what you do, but helping transform that information into real commercial outcomes is what this team does best.
What you'll do:
Write SQL code and create stored procedures
Design and implement Microsoft reporting solutions including BI dashboards, scheduled static reports and drill down reports in Microsoft Reporting Services
Work closely in assisting other team members including Programmers, Senior Programmers & Business Analysts to deliver useful reports and business information.
Assist other departments across the business such as finance, operations, marketing & corporate services with regards to commercial & customer data and other information as required.
Use data analysis to drive positive change throughout the business.
What you'll need:
Previous experience as a commercial programmer would be ideal.
Working knowledge of database development principles, architecture and best practices
Drive, commitment and personality to succeed in this role.
Ability to communicate effectively within your team and across the business.
An ability to manage change and thrive in a fast paced environment.
Embrace new challenges with a positive, 'can do attitude'
To be a committed team player, yet importantly with a sense of fun!
It won't hurt if you have:
Previous professional experience in a Business Intelligence environment.
A tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Statistics.
Experience in the IT and Telco industry
Exposure to Microsoft SQL Server 2012, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS
