The role of the Financial Planner is responsible for providing both holistic and quality financial advice to clients of the Commonwealth Bank.
Commonwealth Financial Planning is one of Australia's most successful providers of integrated financial services, and is a leader in the provision of investment management solutions. To help us maintain our high level of customer focus and quality advice, we are currently looking for a Financial Planner to join our Wealth Management group.
As a Financial Planner, you will be responsible for building both relationships and sales within your designated area as well as providing customers with exceptional customer service and financial advice.
Our Planners have access to a wide variety of resources to help them achieve their targets and goals as well as an excellent support network to help with everything from administration to legal and technical issues.
Key Accountabilities:
Accountable for providing expert advice solutions to help clients achieve their financial goals
Accountable for the quality of the relationship within the financial services team and the branch network
Accountable for quality of advice & providing compliant documentation
Recommending appropriate strategies, products and service options to the client
Identifying the need for an external specialist
Referring clients to an appropriate internal advice provider
To be successful in this role you will require:
RG146 compliant in the following generic and specialist areas: Generic knowledge; Managed Investments; Life insurance; Superannuation; Financial planning, Securities and Skills.
Proven performance in a financial planning role along with exceptional customer relations skills
Proven track record in meeting KPI's
A demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships with key stakeholders
Experience in evaluating ideas and strategies, as well as demonstrating sound judgement
A high level of communication skills both verbally and in writing.
