We are seeking a Product Strategy Manager to join our Global Marketing Team at our global headquarters located on campus at Macquarie University. Reporting to the Head of Sound Processors & Connectivity - Products and Strategy, this position will have end-to-end marketing ownership of processors and connectivity.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Acquiring, maintaining and deploying industry information, competitor knowledge, and customer and channel insights
Creating product marketing strategy and roadmap
Collaborating in compiling the operational product plan
Driving key aspects of product concept definition and innovation, and supporting key aspects of product concept realisation
Identifying, creating and implementing opportunities to streamline products/services strategy and planning workflows across teams
To be successful in this role, you must have a senior marketing background, in roles that include global responsibilities in either products/services or health/technology. Your experience and achievements will demonstrate your strengths in
Understanding complex products/services
Assessing opportunities and developing effective go-to-market strategies
Business development delivering growth
Upstream marketing including developing a products/services strategy, plan and roadmap in alignment with market insights
The use of appropriate methodologies in testing the effectiveness of value propositions
Experience in the fuzzy front end of product/services marketing and the quantification of business models is desirable.
Exposure to lean six sigma product creation methodologies, project management, and/or emerging market aspects would be highly regarded.
