Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our Melbourne based team, working on a range of large-scale business process outsourcing deals.
This role will see you engaged in the development and implementation of terms and conditions for the provision of services, structuring and negotiating agreements to establish strategic business relationships between IBM and our clients, and translating agreements into contractual terms.
As an experienced contracts management leader, you will provide guidance and counsel to management and business professionals and other groups/functions, as well as develop strong business relationships to support sales and service organisations.
Specific responsibilities will include:
• Participating as part of a proposal team in the review of Requests for Proposal, Statements of Work, new scope proposals and creation of proposals by preparing all contractual data, including the terms and conditions necessary for contractual performance.
• Providing contract management for signed contracts and schedules during the term of the contract.
• Identifying and quantifying potential risks in proposed business relationships, sales proposals, bids and implementation projects.
• Proactively identifying and managing contract issues, amendments and escalating issues where necessary.
• Reviewing and managing contractual obligations including reporting on contract performance and compliance.
You will have significant experience in contract drafting, review and negotiation, ideally in the context of Business Process Outsourcing and/or the provision of Professional Services. This will be complimented by:
• A strong ability to engage and influence multifunctional stakeholders at all levels including project management, procurement and legal business units.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A high level of attention to detail with excellent analytical and numerical ability
• Strong client facing experience, including experience negotiating outcomes at a high level
