Job Title: Business Development Manager - Medium Density Developments

Over the last few years, we've rapidly grown our footprint in the residential and Government space. We've been helping customers grow with our clever Internet, phone and web solutions because... well, we've been there and know what works. What you'll do:
• Reporting to TransACT's General Manager, Business and Government, you'll shoulder a lead role in delivering our network Sales Strategy into new residential medium density developments across the ACT.
• You'll drive sales and mastermind new business activity for 'Greenfield' sites and associated estate developments.
• Manage a portfolio of builders and developers, and prospect for new builders and developers to deploy the TransACT network
• Influence senior leaders with your customer focus, business development expertise and marketing savvy.
• Develop long-haul relationships with new and existing partners critical to our network strategy including developers and builders.
• Work closely with our Design and Construction, Customer Service & Technical teams in aligning with sales efforts and product releases.
What you'll need:
• Proven ability to generate new business opportunities, with a track record of sales success.
• The ability to juggle like a pro. We're looking for a natural multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment, coupling a strategic outlook with a 'hands on' approach.
• A knack for networking. You know, a real people-person, someone with a credible circle of professional networks.
• Account management philosophy. You know how to 'farm' more from less.
• Real drive to achieve and exceed targets. You'll make sharp decisions to make things happen.
• Keen analytical skills. We need someone with an eye for spotting key trends, variances and development opportunities to increase sales revenue.
• Knowledge and experience in the telecommunications industry would be ideal but not essential.
• Strong results orientation, an ability to work independently and manage a geographical territory.
• Ability to travel as required.
