Located 80 kilometres south of Tom Price, Greater Paraburdoo is an open pit operation producing high grade ore through a central processing plant. It comprises of the three mines Paraburdoo, Channar and Eastern Range. The picturesque town of Paraburdoo offers residents a range of leisure facilities and local amenities including a jet-serviced airport.
Reporting to the Superintendent Plant Reliability, you will be leading a team of maintenance planning personnel within the plant operations department at Paraburdoo.
As a Senior Maintenance Planner, your responsibilities will include:
Mentoring, coaching and developing your team’s capabilities
Providing regular feedback on your team’s performance
Reviewing your team's maintenance plans and providing technical assistance to your team
Driving and promoting a positive safety culture and zero harm approach
Managing and controlling the departmental budget
Providing support and assistance to the Superintendent to drive reliability initiatives
To be considered for this role, you will have demonstrated leadership experience with a thorough understanding of maintenance planning systems and processes. You will also possess experience in fixed plant maintenance and particularly coordinating shutdowns within a mining environment. Finally your experience in reliability and SAP will be an added advantage.
