Job Description
The purpose of this position is to work with the State to increase market share of the bank in core banking business and its alliance services, in the local area of representation and identify business opportunities in the broader marker for the State’s asset and liability growth through active business development, both internal and external. To promote all the Bank’s products and services and seek to service all of our customers’ financial needs
Required Skills
Knowledge of BoQ products and services
Knowledge of branch operations and synergies
General business acumen
Proven customer service orientation with demonstrated relationship building skills
Strong negotiation skills
Experience dealing with referral sources and industry bodies
Working knowledge of Windows programs.
Proven ability to be self managed and motivated towards business development both internally and externally.
Required Experience
Proven experience in a similar sales and customer facing role
Proven experience in sales and cross selling
Proven experience in effective external business development in a similar role
Retail Banking Lending experience to enable them to coach others is essential
Must understand the Code of Banking Practice and other Financial Sector compliance requirements
Commercial lending experience is not essential, but would be advantageous
Solid understanding and Experience in credit procedures and policies
