The ICC Production Services - Support Team is one of a number of teams within Wholesale Banking Rates and Credit area. The team supports the Integration layer within Wholesale Banking. The Support Team is required to work very closely with the other teams within Wholesale Banking to achieve its overall goals and objectives.

The roles primary purpose is:

To provide 24 by 7 Support for the Production Integration layer.
To co-ordinate with other support teams to help resolve Production issues.
To co-ordinate and manage support functions including software currency and hardware upgrades, diagnosis and resolution of technical issues and ensuring that an appropriate support capability is in place to address customer needs.
To take ownership for the investigation of users problems, to develop a technology solution is accordance with business needs.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to engage and influence stakeholders in order to understand their needs, solve problems and create functional specifications and develop solutions.

You enjoy working in a large, complex, fast paced environment and can deal with ambiguity and take challenges in your stride.

We're looking for a team player who is customer focussed and committed to delivering quality technical solutions.

It is expected that the role holder will have the following qualification and experience:

Prior experience in a Technology support based role is required
Experience in enterprise/middleware application support is desirable
Proven experience in incident, change and problem management preferably under the ITIL framework.
Must be a "team player" and have proven experience working with peers and other team members.
Considerable experience in task leadership
Exposure to managing technologies, associated risks and working in partnerships with vendors/consultants expertise
Mandatory technical skills

Exposure to a support IT environment
Demonstrable experience with the following platforms Unix, Linux, Windows
Strong SQL and query skills, with exposure to Sybase and Oracle
XML messaging experience
WMQ administration experience
Tibco Suite (Business Works, Hawk, EMS, Administrator, GI, XML Canon)
