Located in the Pilbara and Gascoyne regions of Western Australia, Dampier Salt is the world's largest exporter of salt and comprises three operations in Port Hedland, Dampier and Lake MacLeod. Produced through a sustainable process of solar evaporation of sea water, we reliably deliver high quality salt, essential for making thousands of products used in everyday life.
Reporting to the Supervisor Electrical, you will be responsible for providing electrical maintenance services to fixed plant equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Inspecting and repairing service plant or equipment in a timely manner
Carrying out breakdown, planned and scheduled maintenance of equipment within the field, washplant, shiploading and site facilities
Maintaining data within the maintenance and supply systems
Liaising with Supervisor Electrical, Superintendent Maintenance and Electrical team for planning efficient repairs
Maintaining effective relationship with key stakeholders
Achieving the safety and environmental targets through the application of Dampier Salt Limited (DSL) safety and environmental systems.
To be successful in this role, you will hold a C class driver’s license along with demonstrated experience in the mining field. Your possession of A Grade Electrical licence and high voltage switching background will be essential. Additionally, your qualification in High Voltage Switching will ensure your success in this role.
